Spectacular Failures
GN’s Newsletter Notice of Catastrophic Hardware Failures
Gamers.Nexus is an officially created and hosted mini-site that maintains a shortlist of hardware we’ve found to catastrophically fail, often resulting in flames.
This site is to help keep consumers abreast of safety and reliability issues we discover with computer hardware and will be updated when (not if) we find more.
This site also contains the official GN ethics policies & guidelines and lists our favorite organizations to support.
This site will exist alongside our store, our upcoming main site refresh (which will see us coming back to publishing articles - different site & further out), and our YouTube channel. This site also publishes the GN Failure Newsletter so you can get notified immediately when there’s a catastrophic PC hardware failure.
Find the list of independently verified PC Hardware Failures that we maintain here.
LAB
Some people have Failure Analysis labs. We seem to have accidentally stumbled upon building the world’s first "Failure Creation Lab” — it’s like a magnet for computer hardware failures. If a company makes a product that might catastrophically fail, you can rest assured that it will probably find its way to us. Not necessarily because we’re trying to find it, but because of the GN Curse. Anything that can go wrong for a product on its way to the GN Lab will go wrong. One thing: It’s not us that it’s a curse for.

The GamersNexus Test Lab
Our testing lab currently features the following in-operation test stations, with more coming online each year. You can find photos of our main lab below. This is the space that we use for all of our reviews, in-depth research, analysis, and testing:
